I have vast experience in teaching both individuals and groups, young people and adults, covered all areas of Britain’s mountains, as well as many abroad. I have guided many people through the process which has taken them from a beginner at an indoor rock climbing wall, to a confident and safe outdoor lead climber.

Rock Climbing tuition and instruction can be provided for individuals, pairs, small groups and I can even help cater for larger groups with the support of other qualified instructors.

I hold the Single Pitch Award, the Mountain Leader Award as well as the Mountain Instructor Award or MIA.  However it is the MIA which qualifies me to lead and teach people or groups of people in the mountains of Britain in all but the severest winter conditions.  It qualifies me to teach all aspects of rock climbing both indoors and outdoors.  The transition from indoors to outdoors, leading, multi-pitch climbing as well as all aspects of mountain walking and scrambling.
