I can and have introduced a multitude of people to indoor rock climbing in my position as senior instructor and technical adviser for the Bear Rock Climbing Wall, at Warwick University in Coventry. This covers tasters sessions, inductions to climbing, teaching leading, coaching sessions, abseiling lessons, introductions to techniques involved in sports climbing, or Birthday Parties and Team Building groups, and much more.  Services are provided on a freelance basis through prior contact by e-mail or phone. The standard Instructor rate for the Bear Rock Indoor Climbing Wall is £32 an hour. Individuals, pairs or groups of various sizes can be given experiences of outdoor rock climbing. People can also be guided through the transition taking them from beginner, covering all aspects of a rock climber’s repertoire. This covers main belays and belaying skills, running belays, guide books, route finding and planning and movement skills and gear selection. This will provide the support to move from beginner to competent outdoor climber. The cost for a day’s instruction is equivalent to 5 hours with a Bear Rock instructor; £160.
